The Capitol Pops Concert Band is delighted to announce its upcoming free Holiday Concert, set to take place on December 10th at the Rusch Park auditorium in Citrus Heights. This highly anticipated event promises an enchanting evening of concert band standards, traditional Holiday melodies, and sing-along carols, all guaranteed to captivate audiences of all ages.

Under the direction of conductor Susan Hamre, the Capitol Pops Concert Band is thrilled to present a program that includes pieces from John Williams, Morton Gould and Julie Giroux, along with festive holiday classics. But the fun doesn't end there! The Capitol Pops Concert Band invites the audience to join them in spreading holiday cheer with a lively sing-along session of beloved carols.

The concert features American Salute by Morton Gould, Suite of American Dances by Robert Russell Bennett, Dmitri Kabalevsky’s whimsical Gallop, a work by John Williams as well as new and old holiday favorites including A Most Wonderful Christmas arr by Robert Sheldon, Merry Christmas, Everyone! by Steven Reineke and the jazzy and exciting 3 Wise Guys by Julie Giroux.
